All board members, supporters, and staff have volunteered 100% of their time and donated money to help Imagine Foundry get started.
The funds, as outlined above, will go toward financial expenses needed for our educational programs to continue. Sponsorships allow equal access to our programs such that children can attend at reduced or no cost to their family. In 2019, 50% of children attended our programs on a sponsorship. Thank you for taking time to learn about what we do. That shows that we are here for a common goal – to help kids. We provide opportunities for children to learn skills that they are passionate about in our classroom, makerspace, and community events. We launched the grand opening of our first location in January of 2020. Due to natural disasters and the pandemic, we are at risk of closing.
Prior to the closing of nonessential businesses, we offered classes like baking, sewing, building, science experiments, 2nd Saturdays open maker lab, and other community events. We hosted birthday parties and provided engaging activities for party guests. During this pandemic, we’ve moved our sessions online, however, we are not able to sustain business as usual. We are excited for continued innovation in how we can offer our programs.
We need your help to continue to provide this wonderful opportunity. We depend on the generosity of our community to help us ignite the spark in tomorrow’s leaders and instill qualities of determination and perseverance in our children. Your gift will help provide immediate assistance in covering costs for our sponsorships for children, materials and supplies for programs, and rent for our classroom space.
