Activity Highlights

Thinking Thursday is a curiosity-driven day focused on science, engineering, and thoughtful exploration.

This activity invites kids to investigate how things work through testing, questioning, and hands-on design challenges.

What You’ll Experience

Participants explore science and engineering concepts through experiments, building challenges, and design-based prompts. Kids are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, test ideas, and refine their designs based on what they observe.

Activities are open-ended and adaptable, allowing children to engage at their own level while practicing critical thinking and problem-solving.

Why It Matters

Design thinking teaches kids how to approach challenges with curiosity and persistence. By testing ideas and learning from results, children develop resilience and confidence in their ability to solve problems.

Thinking Thursday helps kids connect creativity with logic, building a strong foundation for scientific reasoning and innovation.
